Life After Loss

Life After Loss is a charity set up in an attempt to help heal those who have had their lives devastated by the loss of a baby. Support is offered to anyone affected by a loss at any stage of pregnancy or early in life. The charity began life as a small internet forum, and sadly has grown from strength to strength to become so much more. Life After Loss continues to grow, and soon will offer bereaved families the financial and emotional support to take on projects in their local area, and to reach out to others affected by similar losses. We believe that helping others, and making positive actions, is a hugely important part of the healing process.

Little Soul

Little Soul was written by Tom from Oswald, as his means of coping with the pain and emotions of miscarriage, and was only later recorded when he was able to sing it for purely personal reasons, and not to be part of the Oswald catalogue. With this in mind, Tom has donated the song to global miscarriage and baby loss charities: allowing the charity to use the song on their website as well as encouraging fans to donate money to the charity when downloading the track.

Miscarriage is constantly linked to the pain of a woman losing her unborn, yet rarely is thought to have any effect on the male, the father-to-be no longer. Having fatherhood taken away from Tom was a nightmare come true, and this nightmare has been brought to light through the heartfelt words of Little Soul.
